CUPPING
Traditional Chinese Cupping involves the use of heated small rounded glass cups on the skin to draw blood towards the surface of the skin. This method draws toxins in the blood to the surface to allow the body to "breathe" better. Cupping has been recorded to be effective on a wide variety of ailments including edema, swellings, asthma, bronchitis, aches and pains, arthritis, abdominal pain, stomachache, indigestion, painful menstruation, low back pain and headache.
MOXIBUSTION
"Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing. Moxibustion has been used throughout Asia for thousands of years; in fact, the actual Chinese character for acupuncture, translated literally, means 'acupuncture-moxibustion.' The purpose of moxibustion, as with most forms of traditional Chinese medicine, is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the flow of chi, and maintain general health."
